Come give EXCA a try without the Fees or Pressure of a real race!
What is an Exhibition Race?
- A trial/practice race that anyone can enter! No Memberships required!
What do you do?
- You will be given one course with a number of obstacles. You will then do the obstacles as fast & clean as possible. You will be judge as if you were in a true EXCA Race.
How is it scored?
- Approach-Obstacle-Departure making the total score 5.5 being average.
- Speed and horsemanship will also come into factor at the end for a total overall score, making the highest score the winner!
~Remember sometimes speed is not everything! Smooth is fast! ~
- Obstacles will NOT be numbered.
- All EXCA Rule will apply.
- Must sign up online! NO DAY OF ENTRIES!
Divisions:
LEAD-LINE: FREE
- Riders 8yrs of age and under that cannot yet ride alone.
- 8 obstacles
- Every rider gets a goodie bag
- Ribbons to 4th Place
LIL BUCKS: $15.00
- Riders 11yrs and under able to ride alone.
- 9 obstacles
- Every rider gets a goodie bag
- Ribbons to 4th Place
- Must have an adult in the arena during ride.
YOUTH: $20.00
- Riders 12-17yrs old
- 10 obstacles
- Ribbons to 4th place
- Engraved cup for the Winner
ROOKIES: $30.00
- Riders 18yrs +
- 10 obstacles
- Riders that have never done EXCA or a lot of other obstacle Competitions.
- Also Great for Green Horses that have not competed in EXCA!
AMATURES: $40.00
- Riders 18yrs +
- Compete in Novice, or Intermediate in EXCA or has done other obstacle competitions and is confident moving faster.
- 12 obstacles
- Ribbons to 4th place
- Engraved cup for the Winner
OPEN: $50.00
- All Ages 12+
- 50% payback if over 3 entries.
- Higher levels of EXCA or Other Obstacle Competition competitors.
- 15 obstacles
- Ribbons to 4th place
- Engraved cup for the Winner
(Open to ALL Levels)
Stalls: $25.00
Camping: $10.00 (dry)
Courses will be posted Wednesday before the competition.
ANY RIDERS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST WEAR A HELMENT!
